PEDATI IN BUKITTINGGI

          The annual event Bukittinggi called Pedati, it is started from midts of the year at Lapangan Wira Braja, Bukittinggi. This event held by government of West Sumatera that is rovided the place and invited all of event organizers in Bukittinggi to make several events that West Sumatera have, especially Bukittinggi.

            There are many important points of this event such increase visit to Bukittinggi, the tourists can belong stay in Bukittinggi, increase nasionalism, conservation the cultures and traditional act, conservation and promotion of local or national product. Also the purpose are medium to union of country, promotion of tourism, and support of visit Indonesia.

            Pedati consist show of the art from Bukittinggi, other province, and other country such us Reog Ponorogo, Tabuik Pariaman, Silat, Ketoprak, Ronggeng, Saudati, and Melayu dance that performed on the stage. Modern arts also performing here. Festival bands , modern dances, modern sings are the most interesting for teenagers who they could see. The most interesting is drama, their performance almost perfect.

            This event also arrange exhibition of trade and industry, customer service, company BUMN/BUMD, UKM, painting of exhibition, handycraft, electronic product, computer, furniture, traveling, garment, hotel, potential of tourism, education services, food, drink, and product from other country like Malaysia, Singapore, Brunai.
